Here at Sandy Spring Friends School, the school year has wrapped up, but the farmer’s market season is in full swing.  Join us each Thursday afternoon from 2:30-5:00 pm on the Sandy Spring Friend School campus as our farm and other local area farms come together to make our produce available to the community. Offerings change weekly depending on the harvest, but usually include: sweet blueberries; fresh-off-the-vine tomatoes; crisp lettuce, kale, and chard; delicious summer squash; fragrant basil and other herbs; and juicy peaches. All items are organic and locally-grown. Cash only, please. Find out more about the SSFS Community Farm (at Sandy Spring Friends School, 16923 Norwood Rd, Sandy Spring, MD 20860) by visiting our website.
